Most school software is built for the office. It manages records, prints receipts and keeps registers. All of that matters — but it quietly leaves out the people a school exists for: the child, and the parent at home wondering how the day went.
Vidyora starts from a different question. Before any feature ships, we ask: does this bring a parent closer to their child’s school day?
Engagement isn’t a notification firehose
Bombarding parents with messages isn’t engagement — it’s noise. Real engagement is calm, timely and useful:
- A single fee card that shows exactly what’s due, with one tap to pay.
- Attendance and homework that a parent can glance at, not dig for.
- Report cards and notices in the same place as everything else.
- The school bus on a live map, with an honest ETA.
When the important things are one tap away, parents stop worrying and start participating.
One login, every child, every school
A parent shouldn’t need three apps and five passwords. In Vidyora, one mobile number signs a parent in to all of their children — even across siblings in different classes, or two schools in the same group. It’s a small thing that removes a daily friction.
Meet parents where they are
Not every family has the latest phone or a fast connection. That’s why Vidyora runs as a responsive website, an installable PWA, and a native Android app — the same experience, three ways to reach it. Sessions stay signed in, so the app is there when a parent needs it, not asking them to log in again.
The bridge, both ways
The name says it: Vidya (knowledge) + Setu (bridge). Engagement isn’t a module bolted onto an admin system — it’s the reason the system exists. When home and school share the same clear view of a child’s progress, everyone does better.
